I am constantly being asked where to go, where to eat, where to stay, and what to do in Las Vegas. Though my site is full of more detailed information on some of these great spots, here is a quick run down on places to add to your list while visiting Vegas this summer.
Eat
With the kids…don’t sacrifice good food because your with your little entourage!
Serendipity3, Sugar Factory, Max Brenner, Simon Restaurant & Lounge, Cheesecake Factory, Rain Forest Cafe, CPK, Wolfgang Pucks: Spago (has a Kids Menu) or any of the Wolfgang Puck casual dining locations
Fashion Show Mall has a great selection of family dining options: Grimaldi’s Wood Fire Pizza, Red Velvet Cafe, Nordstroms Cafe and NM Cafe in Neiman Marcus offers Kid Menus, and there is always Italian dining, Maggianno’s.
If you are looking for quick eats, check out the Food Courts at Fashion Show, Luxor, MGM, and Monte Carlo. There is also the ShowCase Food Court next door to the MGM Grand Resort.
Play
Take the kids…you’ll be surprised at how much there is to do!
The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, The Secret Gardens and Dolphin Habitat at Mirage Resort, CSI: The Experience, Bodies: The Exhibit, The Conservatory at Bellagio, The Town Square Park, Rave Motion Cinemas, Cirque du Soleil shows, The Mob Museum
Of course, there’s always the Soda Fountain at Coca-Cola World where you can sample sodas of the world, and right next door is M&M World. The Venetian is host to It’Sugar, one of the largest candy shops I’ve seen full of all kinds of goodies, like a gigantic gummy bear and king-sized box of Nerds!
Stay
Enjoy the luxuries found on the Strip at these fabulous resort properties that treat your little entourage like RockStars!
Aria Las Vegas, Four Seasons Hotel, Mandarin Oriental, and Bellagio
Want to stay where the best pools are for the kids? Try Mandalay Bay for Mandalay Beach, Monte Carlo for the lazy river, and the Golden Nugget to swim with the sharks at The Tank.
Escape
Need a night without your little entourage? Check out these two local services that provide nannies and hotel room sitters.
In need of some places to rock without the little entourage? Check out my calendar listing of upcoming summer events, RSMLV approved!
Enjoy the rest of your summer…see you in September!

Great post! I think visitors to Vegas with Families have a hard time finding things to do!

Wow! So awesome! Kinda makes me want to go (since I don’t gamble and can’t drink right now ;-)) and I KNOW that I have always loved the Mandalay beach and the aquariums.
And OMG I didn’t know they had a Serendipity 3 there!! I need to go get a frozen hot chocolate, STAT.

Yay! So many fun ideas here… I didn’t know there was a Serendipity here in Vegas – will have to check that one out!
I’d also add some off-strip things like the Las Vegas Children’s Museum and Springs Preserve to the list.
