Roasting chestnuts, crackling fire and a glass of egg nog perfectly blended make the holidays complete. Over 13 years ago, I discovered this eggnog recipe shared by the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas, and have been making since then almost every year. It is one of my absolute favorite recipes. If you are an egg nog lover, you will enjoy it, too. Though it calls for Spiced Rum, feel free to add liquor of your choice, or none at all. Another variation, suggested by a friend, is to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to make this holiday cocktail classic even more decadent. Cheers to you and yours!
Hope your holidays are merry and bright, and enjoy the sounds, tastes and activities of the season.
Merry Christmas!

Egg nog is one of my favorite parts of Christmas! Love everything egg nog and miss it so when the season is over. No reason I can’t make my own anytime of year, right? Thanks for the recipe!
