September brings me such joy! Love the change in the weather, the kids back to school, and Fashion’s Night Out. Though this will be my 2nd year in participating in this fashion industry extravaganza, I am even more excited than last as I will be officially covering the events, trends and celeb spottings on my site! All events that I will be at for the evening’s festivities are available on my calendar listing, and you can follow me on Instagram and Twitter using #FNO #FNOVegas.
The Shops at Palazzo and Fashion Show Mall
Last year I had a great time at Kiki de Montparnasse at Crystals at CityCenter. I actually dragged the hubby with me, who ended up having a blast as well. I also stopped into my favorite boutique, Nanette Lapore, where I entered my name in a drawing for FNO, and won! That never happens to me, but it was crazy fun! Just in time for my Fall trip back to Washington, D.C., I picked up a cashmere cardi with matching knit hat, a bottle of the latest Nanette Lapore perfume, and a $500 gift card. You heard that right! Not to mention there are so many things to keep you engaged all night long. Celeb spottings, sips & nibbles, chances to enter to win tons of fabulous prizes, keep up to date on this years’ trends and most of all, support the local fashion industry and their partnering charitable organizations. Each designer, shoppe and boutique has teamed up with either a local or national charitable organizations where a percentage of the proceeds from that night’s shopping sprees will go to benefit their organization of choice.
To learn more about Fashion’s Night Out, how and why it started, you can visit their website FashionsNightOut.com. In its 4th year, FNO continues to keep growing strong, and the events are getting bigger and better! Grab your bestie or your favorite date and head out this Thursday, September 6th, from 6-11pm; enjoy fashion, enjoy your city and support some great causes! When you are out and about remember to use #FNO #FNOVegas and show me your good times! I’m telling you this year’s going to be a blast! And, I’ll be rocking this styling FNO shirt, compliments of Neiman Marcus Las Vegas. What to wear, what to wear?!?!
You can rock one, too. The FNO collection is available on-line or in select stores. 40% of the proceeds from the FNO collection will benefit the New York City AIDS fund in the New York Community Trust.
All events on Fashion’s Night Out are open to the public and are complimentary.

See, that’s what I love about blogs….while I live in Vegas (still a newbie, I guess), but wasn’t even aware of all this! I had heard of Fashions Night Out, but thought it was only in cities like New York. I learn something new all the time. And I really like that shirt!
